Anxiety

Anxiety is a complex emotion that manifests as a sense of unease, worrisome thoughts, and physiological reactions such as elevated blood pressure. It is often confused with fear, although the two are distinct. Anxiety is a long-lasting, forward-looking response to a general sense of threat, while fear is a short-term, present-focused response to a specific and identifiable danger.
